Earliest recorded Scry

William Byg of Wombwell alias Lech is credited with the first ever recorded case of Scrying in modern Europe. This confession was recorded on August 22, 1467. He was said to have earned a living by finding stolen property with the help of his crystal ball for over 2 years. He was eventually charged with heresy. Scholars have researched and examined Byg's description of his scrying up to recent times. His description matches many scrys works and procedures after him, so by large his work is considered authentic.
